At Rustic Roots delivery we work very closely with small, sustainable farmers in the Northeast to bring the most nutritious food right to your doorstep.
To make that happen, our farmers work around the clock, inspecting and working in the fields. They make their rigorous daily work seem effortless, fueled by their passion for growing healthy food for you and your family.
At Rustic Roots Delivery our mornings begin hours before the sun even rises. The air is still and quiet, yet energizing. We go to our different farms and select the best fruits, and veggies, just picked from the fields, eggs, cheese, milk, meats and more.
Your order is lovingly assembled into crates or coolers, packed into our van and delivered right to you. We follow each delivery up with a list of each item received and recipes for each.
We collect the food on the day it was picked and deliver it to you in most cases within 24 hours. At the farm, we hand pick and select what’s in season, the way nature intended. This ensures only the freshest, most nutritious fruits and vegetables are delivered from the farm to your door.
At Rustic Roots Delivery we allow for one time orders on a week to week basis or you can sign up for full season CSA share with the bonus of having it delivered right to your door.
We deliver delicious local food anywhere on Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens or Manhattan. We have a whole range of products to choose from. Amazing seasonal fruit and vegetable baskets, grass–fed meat packages or items à la carte like local glass-bottled milk, handmade pasta, local cheeses, butter, honey, eggs and more.
We are a husband and wife team and started our small operation in May of 2011. We source quality, nutritionally abundant food from local farmers who use best practices for organic and sustainable farming.
We attribute our being in business to all the small-scale local farmers who work so hard to produce great healthy products.
From April to December we offer weekly fish specials, freshly caught by Long Island fishermen, and throughout the year have seasonal and holiday goodies available like organic turkeys for Thanksgiving and organic chocolate baskets for Valentine’s Day.
